Sunday Pico de Gallo

If you follow me on Instagram for a while you may know that every Sunday since I got memory my dad makes some badass meals on the grill; sea food, chicken, steaks, etc. It has always been a tradition in my family. It is me favorite day of the week too because we spend for time together as a family. We have breakfast together, go to church, do the groceries and prepare our Sunday meal, everyone has a task. My dad prepares the meat, mom prepares the veggies that will be going to the grill, I'm in charged of the salsas and my sister.. well, she doesn't do anything but eat haha!

 

 

Most of the time I prepare pico de gallo, perfect for tacos, alone, with salads, eggs, etc. Basically goes so good on everything and this is how I do it:

 

INGREDIENTS:

 

4 tomatoes

3 jalapeños

1/4 of an onion (white or purple)

Cilantro (a handful)

Condiments: cumin, garlic powder, pepper, oregano and himalayan salt.

 

METHOD:

Cut the ingredients as fine as you like, mix them all together, add the codimentes to taste and DONE!

 

So easy and great to have on so many dishes. You know I'm all about easy, fast and healthy foods!
