Here's one fact about me, as a child the base of my diet was cereal, cereal and cereal. And by cereal I mean the sugary and artificial colored cereal we see at the supermarket, I also remember going through phases were I only had one specific type of cereal and ate it for months.

 

 

Now with my whole different perspective about foods and the importance of nourishing my body with good foods. It's important for me to choose better ingredients that will do something good in my body instead of having a harmful impact.

 

Recently I discovered this Magic Spoon cereal... and it's a game changer! Major throwback to my younger years, but in a whole new level. This cereal is low carb and the ingredients are simple, nothing compared to the conventional supermarket cereal.

Double Chocolate Cereal Bites

Serves 12

 

Ingredients

- 3 cup of Magic Spoon low carb cereal

- 1/3 cup of granulated monk fruit or any other sugar alternative

- 1/2 cup of nut butter (pili nut or coconut butter recommended)

- 1 dark chocolate bar

- 1 cup of hot nut milk

- 2 Tbsp of beef gelatin (optional)

 

Method

1. Add the cereal in a mixing bowl with the granulated sugar.

2. In another bowl mix the nut butter and melted chocolate bar.

3. Mix very well the beef gelatin in the hot nut milk and add to the nut butter and chocolate bowl.

4. Add the liquid mix to the cereal bowl and mix well.

5. Divide your mix in twelve silicone muffin cups.

6. Freeze for up to 3 hours.

Carbs: 6.3g

Fiber: 2.8g
