Chickpea Masala Veggie Cheese Burger

Serves 1


Ingredients

  • 2 Actual Veggies Chickpea Masala Veggie Burgers

  • 2 gluten-free burger buns

  • 2 slices cheddar cheese (or vegan cheese)

  • 2 slices pepper jack cheese (or vegan cheese)

  • Masala Slaw:

    • 1/2 cup dairy-free plain yogurt

    • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar

    • 2 packets stevia

    • 1/4 tsp sea salt

    • 1 tsp Garam Masala

    • 1/8 tsp black pepper

    • 1/2 tsp garlic powder


Instructions

  1. Air fry the veggie burger at 400°F for 6 minutes.

  2. Mix all slaw ingredients until well combined.

  3. Toast burger buns in the air fryer at 385°F for 4 minutes.

  4. Assemble the burger: place the veggie patty on the bun, add slaw and cheese slices. Microwave for 30 seconds for extra melty cheese if desired.

  5. Serve and enjoy!
