Banana Chocolate Creme Pies (Keto, Paleo)

The other day I was cleaning up my pantry, which is a relieving activity that I enjoy doing from time to time. Specially when my Sunday has a free schedule and I'm not in the mood for watching You Tube videos or Netflix. My inner workaholic takes place.

The other thing about cleaning up my pantry is that I rediscover products that I love! in this case Ancient Nutrition Banana Creme Bone Broth. This flavor is one of my faves, and one thing you should know about protein powders is that they are an incredible ingredient when it comes to sweet treats! This is just the perfect example.

Banana Chocolate Creme Pies, even though we are not using bananas I'm still looking up for you by offering a recipe with healthier ingredients. No inflammatory or weird ingredients, you know that that's my main purpose with Purely Healthy Living.

The ingredients are:

- Keto friendly

- Paleo friendly

- Gluten free

- Nut free

If you are sensitive to nuts you are going to love this paleo and low carb recipe. We won't be using almonds, walnuts or any other nut. The base is from coconut and the protein powder, if you are vegan fill free to use a plant based protein! Nuzest.

You won't be needing your oven, these are super easy and quick to make, and the taste? Well, delicious! It's bananas guys. The consistency? soft, silky, fudgy and creamy.

As a sweetener I used my favorite one, which is low carb and derived from natural sources, Lakanto monk fruit (use PURELYHL for discount on all of their products).

As what goes for the topping, chocolate. I used low carb chocolate chips! I love Lakanto ones or ChocZero, those are my recommendations when it comes to low carb chocolate. These guys are the experts.

I really enjoyed these creamy pies as my afternoon treat but these can also be great as a after workout protein refuel since they contain 6.6 grams of protein. And yeah, keto friendly! They contain only 2.8g of net carbs, that's the beauty of using coconut flour! It's a great source of fiber and adds a lot of volume.

Let's get started! Excited to share the goodies!

Check out these recipes that I'm also excited to share with you!
