Serves 10 donuts
Ingredients
1 cup pecan flour
1/2 cup of vanilla pea protein (used Nuzest)
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 cup of crushed freeze dried strawberries
2 scoops of Marigold Strawberry Sundae Grass-Fed Whey Protein (PHL for discount)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 large egg
1/3 cup of buttermilk
1/3 cup of vanilla greek yogurt
1 tbsp of melted butter
Frosting and Topping:
1 cup of powdered monk fruit
3 tbsp of coconut milk
Toppings
4 crushed strawberry cookies (used Fancypants)
2 tbsp of freeze dried strawberries
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease your donut mold.
Mix dry ingredients: baking powder, baking soda, protein powder, and almond flour in a bowl.
Add in the wet ingredients and stir in the freeze dried strawberries.
Pour the batter into the donut mold, filling each cavity one-third full.
Bake for about 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
