Red Velvet Donuts (Keto & Low Carb)

Spreading a little extra love today with this amazing recipe, a Valentine's Day classic! Red Velvet, hard not to fall for this recipe, trust me. Specially when we are looking at those white chocolate chips!

If you are like me, then you like showing your love and appreciation throughout foods, such as a comforting meal, home cooked dinner and a delicious baked goods. And what's better than red velvet in Valentine's Day? Although I'm all about red velvet all year long.

These could be the perfect surprise for your loved ones! And I say surprise because these are secretly healthy, nutrient dense and low carb, you won't even tell!

Some of the ingredients included on this recipe are:

- Monk Fruit (PURELYHL for Lakanto discount)

- Low Carb White Chocolate Chips ChocZero

- Coconut Flour

- Vanilla Collagen

- Beet Powder

For example, if you don't have vanilla collagen you can use unflavored collagen or just skip this ingredient. It's not essential but adds a little more nutrients such as essential amino acids that help on the production of collagen in our bodies. Great for skin, hair, gut lining and joints.

Beet powder is what we are going to be using to add color. Fun fact, one tablespoon of beet powder equals 3 medium sized beets, a root veggie that boots stamina, circulation of blood and oxygen throughout our bodies and a healthy blood pressure from the nitrates that eventually converts to nitric oxide.

As you can see and will taste this donuts go beyond looking pretty, but they are also a great way to show your body the love and appreciation you have for it. Eating better foods for you is not boring or tasteless and this recipe is the perfect proof that I love sharing with you!

Anyways, I really hope you enjoy this recipe I made with all the love just for you!

Xoxo,

Maria.
