This are easy to make, moist, flavorful and so addicting! I'm obsessed, and since I have always been a fan of easy recipes with the combination of Brazi Bites Cheddar Parmesan Cheese Brazilian Bread, pizza dough eggs and cheese, this recipe is definitely a winner!

Breakfast Sausage & Cheese Calzone

Serves 2-4


Ingredients

  • 1 ready to bake pizza dough

  • 1 of Diestel Turkey Sausage

  • 2 whole eggs

  • 1/2 tsp of garlic

  • 1/8 tsp of black pepper

  • 1/4 tsp of sea salt

  • 2 mozzarella sticks


Serving (optional)

  • Sugar-Free Maple Syrup


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven at 350F.

  2. Cook on a skillet the sausage, 10 in medium heat or until fully cooked.

  3. In the same skillet cook the eggs, add seasonings.

  4. Spread the pizza dough and slice in half.

  5. Add the egg and sausage into each half of the pizza dough slices.

  6. Fold each half on half and press the edges with the fork and then fold carefully to shape them as calzones.

  7. Bake for 18-20 minutes.

  8. Serve with optional maple syrup.

  9. Enjoy!
