Easy Bean Layer Dip

Serves 6


Ingredients

  • 1 pack of SOMOS Chipotle Refried Beans

  • 1 cup of guacamole

  • 2 cups of cooked ground chicken (or beef)

  • 1 cup of SOMOS Taco Simmer Sauce

  • 1 cup plain yogurt or sour cream

  • 1 tbsp taco seasoning

  • 1 ½ cups shredded cheese

  • 1 cup drained canned corn

  • Optional garnishes: chopped cilantro, red pepper flakes


Instructions  

  1. Preheat a serving dish (8x8-inch or pie plate).

  2. Mix the yogurt with taco seasoning in a bowl until smooth.

  3. Spread the refried beans evenly in the bottom of your dish.

  4. Add a layer of guacamole over the beans.

  5. Brown the ground chicken, then stir in the SOMOS Taco Simmer Sauce and spread over the guacamole.

  6. Spread the yogurt mixture evenly over the meat layer.

  7. Top with drained corn, shredded cheese, and your favorite garnishes like cilantro and red pepper flakes.
