Shrimp Madras Yellow Dal Stuffed Bell Pepper

Serves 3


Ingredients

  • Ingredients (serves 3)

    • 2 cups of raw shrimp

    • 1 pack of Patak’s Madras Yellow Dal

    • 1/2 tsp of sea salt

    • 1/3 cup of chopped cilantro

    • 1/4 cup of chopped onion

    • 3 bell peppers

    • 1 tbsp of olive oil

    Garnish

    • Cilantro

    • Sliced Jalapeño

    • Red Pepper Flakes


Instructions

  1. Remove the top of the bell peppers and remove the seeds.

  2. Air fry your bell peppers for 20 minutes at 300F.

  3. In a skillet heating on medium low heat drizzle a bit of olive oil.

  4. Start cooking the onion and for 3 minutes.

  5. Add in the shrimp, salt and garlic, let it cook for 4 minutes or until shrimp is slightly pink.

  6. Pour in the pack of Patak’s Madras Yellow Dal and let it simmer for 3-5 minutes.

  7. Stuff the bell peppers with the madras yellow dal and top with garnish.
