A delicious easy to make high protein and low carb cheesy "pasta" casserole, with a touch of dairy-free mozzarella and salami. Easy to make, air fried and just a crowd pleaser, you really need to make this recipe, great for meal prep as well!

About this Mozzarella Sticks Salami "Pasta":

This is extremely easy to make and extremely flavorful! The ingredients are simple and short, and the process of making these is just as minimal and easy, you'll be surprised... your guests and their tastebuds! This recipe is perfect no matter the occasion but I wanted to add a little fun twist by using mozzarella cheese sticks and salami.


Using also some Palm Heart Linguine to keep things lighter, gluten-free and low carb, and over all this this recipe is super tasty, easy to make and comforting... hard to beat this combination of pasta and mozzarella cheese sticks!



What's in this Mozzarella Sticks Salami "Pasta"?

As I mentioned earlier, I used palm heart linguine to make this recipe low carb and free from gluten. The seasonings included in this recipe are real salt, black pepper, garlic powder and some vegetables such as bell pepper and spinach.


I also used salami from humanely raised porks, it's also important for me to also support companies that are doing a better and harder job on maintaining a healthier environment and better treatment to animals. As a nutritionist I know that healthy eating should be sustainable and convenient without sacrificing any taste.

This are easy to make, moist, flavorful and so addicting! I'm obsessed, and since I have always been a fan of mozzarella cheese with salami in every Italian inspired recipe, all in a low carb pasta casserole... comforting and flavorful, this recipe is definitely a winner!


Gosh! It was good. It's such an easy comfort food; saucy, warm and with a nice kick of that salami and the mozzarella shredded cheese.

I enjoyed mine for dinner or lunch, alone and by the forkful along with some air fried chicken for extra protein, and even, a low carb bun as well! A recipe worth making again no matter the season, perfect to share with your friends and family!

Mozzarella Stick Salami Pasta

Serves 6-8 servings


Ingredients

  • 1 cup of spinach

  • 1/2 chopped bell pepper

  • 1 tsp of garlic

  • 1/8 tsp of black pepper

  • 1 tbsp of dried onion flakes

  • 1 tbsp of dried parsley

  • 1/4 cup of vegetable broth

  • 4-6 slices of salami

Mozzarella Sticks

  • 1 wheel of dairy-free mozzarella cheese

  • 1/2 cup of pork panko

  • Garlic, salt and pepper to taste


Instructions.

  1. Preheat the oven at 350F.

  2. Place the palm heart noodles and vegetables in a baking dish and top with seasonings, salami and vegetable broth.

  3. Bake for 25 minutes.

  4. Slice the mozzarella cheese into sliced and cover them in panko and seasonings.

  5. Air fry for 12 minutes at 380F.

  6. Serve over the baked noodles and enjoy!
