Tahini Mocha Banana Bread Popsicles (Low Carb & Vegan)

Just like Antoine-Laurent Lavoisier said "Matter is neither created nor destroyed, it only transforms". This also happens with banana bread throughout the seasons. On today's recipe we are skipping the oven and we are simply making a delicious creamy popsicles inspired by the one and only, banana bread.

This iconic recipe is just the perfect snack or treat for the summer. But that's not all, this recipe includes some other amazing flavors because we know that banana bread has a million ways to be presented and all are delicious.

About these Tahini Mocha Banana Bread Popsicles:

You only need your blender and your popsicle mold to have these popsicles ready to go! They are easy to make and great to have them ready to attack whenever that sweet tooth attacks... and yeah! These are also low carb, vegan and gluten free!

If you want a little extra protein you can add some of your favorite vanilla or chocolate protein; vegan or not vegan! I added some of Nuzest Vanilla - Plant Based Protein that is also low carb and gluten free.. you can use the discount code PURELYHL!

The combination of healthy fats and protein here is just the perfect combination for steady glucose levels! From the fats from the tahini and the chocolate along with the protein this is just a great snack, plus includes some antioxidants too.

This recipe is perfect for anyone whether you are vegan, keto or not! You can enjoy these on every type of lifestyle and make your taste buds go bananas while also nourish them at the same time.

Overall, these are the ingredients needed for these Tahini Mocha Banana Bread Popsicles:

I think that one key ingredient for every banana bread is a nut, so I included these candied and keto friendly pecans from Marigold to take it to the next level... and it did perfectly! And of course, there's no mocha without chocolate so I also made sure to include some chocolate.

I have been using non-stop this keto and vegan chocolate from Jojo's this chocolate is just unbearable and one of the best healthy options out there, from blending to baking this chocolate hits the spot! You can also use the discount code "PURELYHL", YAY!

The topping, I included a crunch to resemble that banana bread taste that I wanted so I simply melted some more chocolate, crushed some of Magic Spoon grain free and low carb cereal in cinnamon and wow. Epic combo with that banana, mocha and tahini flavor. I'm hooked.

The full instructions will be below along with the nutritional information per serving. A good gluten, vegan and keto popsicle that will be even a good snack or treat for any time of the day! Each popsicle has only 2.4g of net carbs and 9.3g of protein!

Overall this recipe is:

  • Low Carb

  • Keto Friendly

  • Vegan

  • Gluten Free

  • Meal Prep Friendly

  • Delicious!

The end result

Easy to make since you only need your blender, creamy thanks to the banana and tahini that also pairs perfectly with the coffee flavor along with the chocolate and pecans. These popsicles are just an explosion of flavors that are just so hard to resist!

Even better with the hard shell of chocolate made with the melted chocolate and coated with the low carb cinnamon cereal from Magic Spoon. An epic banana popsicle, perfect for this warm weather (or not!) and to enjoy at any time of the day!

This is a great recipe that your family or friends will love! Easy to prepare and elegant no matter the occasion, this recipe is made to enjoy in the most effortless and most delicious way ever, I mean... only simple and minimal ingredients in a healthy gluten free and keto banana popsicles for the win!
