So we are using wild-caught salmon here, with skin but that’s up to you! I love a good crispy salmon skin so I kept it. We are adding our seasonings, and a touch of cilantro… why not? It adds a great touch. For the magic, we are including some Kurobuta & Duroc Prosciutto from True Story Foods… epic, flavorful, perfect!
This recipe is perfect as a side dish at a party, for lunch, for a protein source at dinner or even as a snack since it's so filling and great to prepare in batches. For this recipe I used my air fryer but you can also use your oven, if it has the option to "roast" use that setting of your oven and voila! In the instructions for both methods are actually the same.
I have a oven air fryer and a regular air fryer; for this recipe I used the oven one, for this recipe I simply set it up in 350F for 30 minutes. In my regular air fryer I tend to use more time though. Check out the timing and temperature, you can constantly check how crispy it looks from time to time while it cooks but it tuna is a very noble meat to cook, it's very quick.
