Hazelnut Brownie Truffles (Keto, Vegan & Gluten Free)

Hello everyone! Hope you all having a great week and holiday season! I'm still trying to believe how fast the year has been going. The holidays are just HERE, wow... Anyways, I'm not even complaining because this is one of the best season to create recipes.

In this special occasion here's a recipe for all my CHOCOLATE HAZELNUT LOVERS!

I remember growing up that my mom always used to gift us a box of chocolate hazelnut truffles along with some fuzzy socks, that was our tradition that till the date is still going, although the chocolate part has changed a little bit... to a healthier version.

This recipe was inspired by that tradition and so excited to be sharing it today. You will be loving these truffles and they are honestly super easy to make, perfect to create a few batches and to spread the holiday love with your favorite people.

For the truffle base I used Super Fat NEW! Keto Brownie Mix, to create the fudgy and chocolate taste. I know that it has made for brownies but we have to step out of the box and get creative, it was a great recipe at the end.

This Keto Brownie Mix is also gluten free, has only 2 net carbs and has 6 grams of fiber per serving. Also paleo and grain free... the ingredients are just so simple and clean! A great baking staple for my brownie lovers out there! You can also use the code "PURELYHL" for discount!

For the hazelnut, type of "Nutella" flavor I used Lakanto's Suntella and guys, this is a game changer. I'm officially obsessed, the taste is legit and it's so easy to spread. You can also use code PURELYHL for discount .

Anyways, here you'll see that the ingredients are simple, minimal and nutrient dense. Just the perfect way to show the love and keep our bodies healthy. This recipe doesn't have inflammatory ingredients.

Simple and healthy Hazelnut Brownie Truffles

The method here is also super easy, don't feel intimidated by them. Basically fail proof, you've got this! And another cool thing about them is that you can keep them in the freezer inside a plastic bag ready to attack any sweet tooth craving.

The toppings are also up to you! I decided to add a little extra touch of fun and personality to them by adding from golden granulated monk fruit or sprinkles on top.

Easy Peasy Truffles

  1. In a bowl mix all the dry ingredients.

  2. Add the wet ingredients and mix again.

  3. Divide the dough to twenty four truffles using a cookie scooper.

  4. Freeze for a couple of hours, 2-3 hours are enough.

  5. Melt carefully the chocolate and coconut oil together.

  6. Using a fork deep every truffle into the chocolate mix and place them in a cold baking tray. Repeat this step with every truffle. *You can add toppings such as golden monk fruit or sprinkles!

  7. Freeze for a couple of minutes, ENJOY.

For this recipe here are some kitchen utensils that you'll be using!

  • One mixing spoon

  • A measuring cup

  • A cookie scooper

Well, these cuties are also great for meal prep since you can keep them in the freezer and enjoy them at any moment of the day or the week!

So for all the brownie and cookie dough fans, are you ready to get started? Don't forget to share, pin, save or bookmark this recipe! Remember to spread the joy and this recipe, anyways, have a great day everyone!
