Mocha Flan Loaf (Paleo & Keto)

I accidentally created this chocoflan recipe, kind of upside down but the taste is nothing but up up up! This was a very intimidating recipe that I refused to try and wow, accidentally I created my own version.


This recipe is surprisingly super easy, fun and delicious to make, inspired by the Mexican classic, chocoflan, bt my coffee loaf version. Basic, simple and extremely good that will rock your world in just a few seconds.

This took me less than 30 minutes to make, no joke! The ingredients listed here are also super basic and we've only have two steps. Mix the ingredients and bake them, it does get easier than that!


Eggs, coconut cream, almond flour and some fun toppings is what we'll be using to create this fun and delicious flan recipe.



I added some ground coffee to create that mocha effect with the cacao from the mix, I was really thinking of my mom when I was making this recipe since she loves coffee, sweets and coconut, we are adding from shredded coconut on top and a drizzle of coconut butter!



This is simply a major combo that you cannot resist, hard to believe that this is also low carb and paleo! Instead of heavy cream we are using coconut cream and almond flour instead of wheat flour. So this is a gut friendlier recipe too!



The perfect afternoon snack or dessert no matter if you are with a picky eater! This is a delicious, sweet, fun and nutrient dense fun recipe that might be on repeat along with a delicious latte or black coffee.

The end result

Simple to make and delicious. This loaf is soft, moist and it melts in your mouth. The texture of the coconut with the pecans is just the perfect experience along with the moisture of the loaf. It's silky, easy to slice and to enjoy, of course.


This is a satisfying recipe since we are getting plenty of protein from the eggs, omega-3's for our brain and MCt as our healthy fats from the ingredients and all the coconut. This is a nutrient dense recipe that's also indulgent at the same time.

Keto Mocha Flan Loaf

Method

  1. Preheat the oven at 400F.

  2. Mix the ingredients for the loaf in a deep bowl.

  3. Pour the mix into a silicone loaf baking dish.

  4. Top with shredded coconut and chopped pecans.

  5. Bake for 23 minutes.

  6. Let it cool down, stop with coconut butter and enjoy!
