Banana bread, in 2021? Groundbreaking (read it in Miranda Presley voice). But for real, a new banana bread recipe and in my defense this is the first banana recipe in my blog so bare with me people! This is a good classic recipe and this recipe is easy to make and delicious!
I decided that I wanted to bake a banana bread for the sake of the fact that by now this is a classic and it also smells amazing. It took me less than 15 minutes to prepare, other 22 minutes in the oven.
So overall I consider this recipe a meal prep friendly recipe. You can also freeze it once you cut your slices. Well, I guess banana bread is so versatile and goes a long way. Stick here for this simple recipe.
The ingredients are basic but I really did some modifications. For example, keto coffee creamer instead of ghee or coconut oil. It works the same way but it also adds moisture and flavor to the recipe. In this case I used Natural Force Caramel Keto Creamer, the best for this recipe!
Caramel Keto Creamer and Chocolate, just the dream team!
This keto creamer is made with MCT aka Medium Chain Triglycerides, these healthy fatty acids get absorbed quicker than other fats and it's used as energy by our bodies as well. This is why you might see people adding it to their coffee in a fasted taste. This way they remain in their state of ketosis.
Overall, this is what you'll need for this Chocolate Caramel Banana Bread:
Paleo flour (I used a mix of almond and coconut flour)
Cinnamon
Granulated monk fruit (PURELYHL for discount)
Baking powder
Eggs
Caramel keto creamer (or coconut oil)
Bananas
Hemp seeds (PURELYHL for discount)
The chocolate and the hemp seeds on top just adds the amount of nutrients; antioxidants and healthy fats! Plus a great texture and flavor. A great combo to make your tastebuds go bananas!
The hemp seeds that I use are from Eaton, my faves! In this occasion I only used the hearts but they have a amazing hemp seeds with the shell and they are incredibly delicious! They add so much crunch along with those omegas, vitamin E, zinc, magnesium, calcium along others.
Now you know the basics about this simple recipe, and how easy it is to make! Also great to share with your loved ones since this recipe is:
Gluten Free
Low Carb
Paleo
Dairy Free
They are great to enjoy along with a cup of coffee or your favorite latte, while watching a movie or just sharing with a friend. Who can say no to a good cookie?
So for all the pecan and cookie fans, are you ready to get started? Don't forget to share, pin, save or bookmark this recipe! Remember to spread the joy and this recipe, anyways, have a great day everyone!
With love,
María
