Grilling season is here! But I personally think that grilling season goes beyond grilling food and more about the memories you create while sharing a very summery vibed recipe in the outdoors. These Cheesy Buffalo Turkey Burgers are perfect whether you grilling them, cooking them in the pan or in the oven!

Okay, this took me legit like fifteen minutes to prepare! These burgers are super easy to make and they don't require a lot of time to be ready. Perfect to feed your summer gang, or to meal prep, with all the flavor we love! Buffalo and cheese... simply epic!
These are gluten free and low carb, no flour but instead we are using pork panko or crushed pork rinds and for cheese we are using mozzarella, you can also use Panela Mexican cheese too! This is adds a great flavor to this recipe plus some vitamin D, and calcium from the cheese, double win!
The key to a delicious burger is of course the ingredients, and the preparation! Who doesn't love a good juicy burger right? And something cooking ground meat can be tricky and can get a bt dry but these burgers are juicy juicy juicy!

Well, besides the cheese and ground meat we are adding our pork panko and some egg whites to help with the consistency of these burgers, which is very soft! Plus we are adding our seasonings as well along with some red onions too.

Bunless or not these still rock! Don't get me wrong, I don't have anything against buns but I find it extra fresh when it come in a lettuce wrap, so watery and juicier from my own personal perspective... but if you are looking for a low carb bun I recommend 10/10 Smart Baking Company, their buns are legitimate (purely_healthy_living for discount).
And for spices, adding real salt, pepper and garlic really amps up any taste and aroma to the recipes; a must and another sneaky way to get some micronutrients such as minerals from the sea salt.

I enjoyed mine for dinner or lunch, wrapped in a lettuce bun with some tomatoes and onions but you can also add some low carb ranch and you will have such a great bite to enjoy... and healthy too!

Cheesy Buffalo Turkey Burgers

Serves 8 servings
1.1 lb of lean ground turkey
1/2 cup of finely chopped halloumi cheese or mozzarella
2 tbsp of chopped red onions
1/2 cup of crushed pork rind
1/4 cup of buffalo hot sauce
1/8 tsp black pepper
1 tsp of real salt
1/8 tsp of garlic
Mix all the ingredients for the burgers in a bowl
Create 8 patties.
Heat a skillet with some coconut or avocado oil.
Skillet and grilling method: Cook each patty for 4-5 minutes per side.
Baking them: 25 minutes at 370F.
Serve in a lettuce bun or regular bun Along with some vegetables.
