Ingredients

  • 1 lb turkey sausage

  • 1 cup chopped butternut squash

  • 4 slices bacon

  • 1 cup chopped celery

  • 1/2 cup chopped yellow onion

  • 2 tbsp fresh sage

  • 1 tsp sea salt

  • 2 tsp chopped garlic

  • 2 tbsp chopped thyme

  • 3 whisked eggs

  • 2 cups chicken or beef broth

  • 1/8 tsp black pepper

  • 4 cups chopped low-carb bread

  • 1 pack Crisp Power Sea Salt Protein Pretzels

  • 4 tbsp melted salted butter

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

  2. Combine melted butter and garlic in a bowl. Toss the bread in the mixture until coated.

  3. Spread the buttered bread on a baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown, then cool.

  4. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage and bacon with thyme, sage, and black pepper. Stir in the celery and butternut squash, cooking for about 5-6 minutes.
