French Onion Thanksgiving Stuffing

Serves 8
Ingredients
8 slices of Royo Artisan Bread
1 lb turkey sausage
1 cup chopped butternut squash
1 cup chopped celery
1 yellow onion, chopped
2 tbsp fresh sage, chopped
1 tsp sea salt
2 tsp chopped garlic
1 tbsp fresh thyme, chopped
3 eggs, whisked
1 pack French onion seasoning mix
2 cups chicken broth
1/8 tsp black pepper
4 tbsp salted butter, melted
1 cup shredded Gruyère cheese
1/2 cup shredded Gruyère cheese (for topping)
Dried green onion flakes for garnish
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 425F.
In a bowl mix melted butter & garlic.Â
Slice the bread into cubes (like croutons) and drizzle over the bread the ghee in spray, toss the bread in a baking sheet. Bake for 10 minutes or until it's a beautiful golden brown.
Let it cool down.
Cook the brussels sprouts and onion in the air fryer for 16 minutes.
Mix the broth with French onion mix.
Change the heat of the oven to 350F.
In a bowl add in the bread, cheese, whisked eggs, broth. Mix well.
Transfer the mix into a baking dish and top with leftover cheese . Bake for 30 minutes.
