This recipe overall is gluten-free, low sugar and vegan friendly as well. I used the cacao hazelnut spread from Artisana Organics to create some magic along with some rice cakes, vegan cream cheese, cinnamon, dairy free yogurt and brown granulated monk fruit.

Churro Chocolate Hazelnut Tart

Serves 1


Ingredients

Base

  • 3 rice cakes

  • 1/4 cup of nut milk

Filling

  • 2 tbsp of Artisana Organics cacao hazelnut spread

  • 2 tbsp of dairy-free cream cheese

  • 1/4 cup of dairy-free yogurt

  • 1 pack of stevia

Toppings

  • 1 cup of mixed berries

  • 3 tbsp of brown granulated monk fruit

  • 1 tsp of cinnamon


Method

  1. Soak the rice cakes in the nut milk

  2. Once they are soft place them as the base for your tarts in a little dish.

  3. Mix the ingredients for the filling and top the base with it.

  4. Mix the cinnamon with brown granulated monk fruit and top the tart with it.

  5. Decorate with berries and enjoy!
